He hasn't posted here but Todd (fuzzydog) lost his most excellent puller and best boy, Josh in the night of February 20-21. I thought he might like to have the support of his forum family. I'm sure he'll post when he's up to it but I thought you all might want to send your thoughts. A dog who will work for his owner like that only comes along once in a lifetime, if ever, and can't imagine the heartbreak of losing him like that. I think he would have brought Todd a semi if Todd asked him to. It was a pleasure seeing him pull back at the National in October. (Sorry, meant to say October of 2003--that's when I first met him and Buddy)

I had heard the news and was very saddened by it. Josh was indeed a very special Mal. We mourn
his loss both for Todd and his family but all the working community. |

I know that Todd misses Josh, and that this was a blow to him. Josh leaves his wonderful legacy in Luke, Val and others to comfort Todd. He will be missed and hugs to Todd.

I'm so sorry for the loss of Joshua Todd. Once again we're reminded how heartbreakingly short our Mals lives are, even when they get all the love, care and exercise they need. I think Josh was the first of your pack I met when you joined. My heart just broke a little when I saw his name and I was hoping somehow it wasn't your boy.
