IMO...

Last Staurday night our CBS affilliate unveiled a potential fall lineup. A 2 hour special highlighted one of
its new shows. The name was rather catchy, so I settled back to view as the Police/Union
mulit-plots unfolded. I'll have to admit, it wasn't 'Hollywood Hokey', but done quite
well. I was actually enjoying the action-packed entertainment; at least for the first hour.
Then, during the second half, the writers found a way to offend even me. A lady officer,
(demoted due to her driving skills), appeared behind the wheel of the shiny new prowler.
Apparently, she'd run over something. The rookie was being teasingly quizzed as to why he'd
allow her to drive, when she asserted herself by vocally bellowing,
"It was only a dog"!

I put down the clicker and suddendly, my Saturday night shedule was free to roam.

p.s. I assumed it was only a pilot, but will have to watch again next Sat. to see which savvy manufacturers
are sponsoring?

I am overly sensitive to these type of scenes on TV or at the movies. Thank you for the warning. I think a letter is in order as well. It's not my idea of entertainment or family friendly. Sheeesh, I am all worked up just reading it.

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Lord knows I surfed through many a commercial break during last Sat.'s episode, but I may have to tune in this Sat. just to see who's backing this. It should be interesting & tempting to not watch (as it is, was a good show, IMO).

I watched(the commercials) Sat. night.

It was a who's who in advertisements. I had to chuckle a bit though when the gourmet dog food folks came on (IMG:style_emoticons/default/mad.gif)
