Wow... a whole 'nother batch of stuff to think about (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) ! The dogs will be a year old soon, and I will be facing this shortly. Thanks for the post... I was ignorant of the anti-body screening option.

Thanks, Patty! Whole Dog Journal is a great resource.

There is another vaccine article here, and there are several more on this site.

The Whole Dog Journal...I know Rhonda and Beth both had subscriptions. I finally broke down and paid for a subscription and was very pleased so far with the publication. This month also had a well written article on how to reform a puller into a more pleasant walker AND 5 things to do when your dog won't budge! (this one had to be written just for Simcha! LOL)

Good article, Laura. When my boys were younger, I took a copy of Dr. Dodd's protocols with me to the vet and asked him if he agreed with them. He said yes, and that established a very nice basis for all future discussions of vaccinations.

Thanks Patty,
The Fuzz head turns 1 in a couple weeks and will need his vacinations. Breeder has all the
records of what has been done. I will coordinate with her and I think she already is a
subscriber The Whole Dog Journal, but will take it and go over it. Hoping to have him
signed over to me in August. Filling out better, but is still going to be a short guy.

read Dr. Marty Goldstein's book The Nature of Animal Healing. quite eye-opening. he has done a lot of fund raising for the study currently being done at the Univ of Wisconsin on rabies vaccinations.
